A Simple and Easy Cupcake Recipe

Vanilla Cupcake

What You Need:

1 cup of sugar

2 eggs

½ cup of butter

1 and ½ cups of all purpose flour

2 teaspoons of vanilla

½ of a cup of milk

1 and ¾ of a teaspoon of baking powder

Preheat your oven to 350F.

With a wooden spoon, mix together sugar and butter (The butter should be softened, but not melted). After mixed, beat in eggs one at a time with an electric mixer.

After eggs are mixed, add the vanilla and set aside. Oh yes, we're more then half way done with this recipe already.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder until completely combined, then add it to the first bowl. Gently stir in the milk until the batter is completely smooth.

Pour the batter into a cupcake pan lined with liners or coated with vegetable oil, and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick can be inserted, and pulled out clean.

After they've cooled, frost them with your favorite frosting, and you're done!

There are hundreds of extracts out there, and all you have to do is visit a bake shop to discover your options. Spruce up this recipe by replacing the vanilla extract with chocolate, strawberry, or something altogether different.
